All of our horses have been given second chances, we believe this makes them better therapy horses. Most of our horses have been given to us due to injury, being unwanted, health problems or behavioural and training issues.

A lot of time, effort and money goes into to ensuring our horses receive the best education and the best life possible. Some take more work than others to equip them to be ready to work with people.

Our horses welfare is paramount, all sponsor money goes directly to paying for the horses and ensuring they are happy and healthy.

Giving our horses adequate feed, training and necessities costs us about £1000 a month. Your sponsorship money really helps towards this. We thank you so much.

Our Sponsors get a updates and a t-shirt. If you prefer not to have a t-shirt and all the proceeds go towards our horses, please just email us.

T-Shirt options:

Child- Small Medium Large

Adults - Small Medium Large Extra Large

Colours- Red, Blue, Yellow, Black, White, Purple, Navy

*It can take up to 3 months for your t-shirt to arrive.

*please note we don't currently have space for any more horses.

I'm Suzie

She's a very sensitive girl but a real sweetheart. Suzie has had a difficult past and has been passed around a lot, having had various foals and being a "difficult horse" to ride means she isn't a childs riding horse and so she's been sold on various times. Suzie has found her home here at Spirit and Soul and was kindly donated by her last owners, knowing that she will have a lovely home.

I'm Monty

Monty has arthritis in his spine. After a number of years of his old owner trying to rehabilitate him, she decided it was time for him to retire as a non ridden horse, and what better way than as a therapy horse.

I'm Zella

Zella was rehomed with her mum Konka, she was rehomed from a local sanctuary, riddled with lice and pretty much untouched. She was very shy and is taking a little more time to get used to us, but she is doing fabulously well!

I'm Konka

Konka was rehomed with her daughter Zella, from the same sanctuary. She was also not in great condition and was riddled with lice. She was very shy and timid, and catching her was another matter. However she is really thriving now.
